Good old workhorse
I have been using EP2500 amps for over 15 years and have never had one fail; I use six in my current PA setup. I believe that the people who rubbish Behringer products are the ones who have never used them! The output figures should be viewed as peak, however an honest 2kW into four ohms and about 1.4kW into eight ohms (6 x 18" in my case) is available when bridged. I have found that the sound quality is good enough to stop people in their tracks when driving decent speakers, making them exceptional value on the used market now it has been replaced with the (identical) EP4000. The weight might be an issue for some, compared with the featherweight Class D amps, but two EP2500s in a rack is still practical for me.
