In the futuristic world of Project Eden, cities that have run out of room expanding outwards instead must build upwards. The game is set a city that has been built to the sky, layer upon layer. The very bottom of the city, the actual ground level, is never seen by most citizens and many assume it to be deserted, if they think of it at all. The ground is given very little concern by most folks, actually, aside from the occasional team of engineers that must head down to the Earth's surface to reinforce base structures and building foundations.<br><br>Now, one of these teams of structural technicians has traveled below and has not returned. Guiding team members of an elite government force, the player must follow the missing engineers to the depths of the planet's surface and investigate. Project Eden features four characters for the player to control, each with unique skills and personalities. Players can switch from several different camera angles and move between a first- and third-person perspective. As the characters descend lower and lower into the city's depths, conditions become more dangerous and strange. Cultists, criminals, and worse make their homes in the bowels of the city. Best multiplayer game ever! This is a thinking persons game! Plenty of puzzles and problems to solve with just enough action to keep you on your toes. You can play as a member of a 4 person squad in multiplayer mode OR you can control ALL 4 members by switching back-n-forth in single player mode! Each member has unique attributes and skills required to overcome and solve the complex problems and challeges you will face. The game starts with your squad investigating a disturbance at a meat factory on an upper level of a futuristic city environment where skyscapers reach unbelievable heights. As the story evolves with the discovery of new information you will gradually work and investigate downwards thru 11 different game levels ultimately reaching the grounds surface level where people no longer go or even see and sunlight never reaches. Who knows what horrors are lurking this far below and what city infrastructure disasters are brewing unnoticed by the city administrators far above. With the combined skills and attributes of your squad, the use of acquired items like the Air Cam, Remote Mini Rover, etc., hacking into computer systems, repairing equipment and accessing video cameras only working as a team will you succeed!
