With the use of a DVD-RW, the creative individual has the opportunity to perform some basic editing functions, such as erasing a title or altering chapters within a title. The Pioneer DVR-231 features Dolby digital, and DTS digital output, as well as analog audio output. The remote control that comes with the Pioneer DVR-231 DVD player provides one touch recording and playlist playback. Languages can be displayed in English, French, and Spanish. A parental lock enables parents to block inappropriate material from children.
