This will last a lifetime.
I bought this heavyweight umbrella support to stand my bird feeder pole upright as it kept falling over. It’s sturdy and well made. I’m not sure why it has splashes of lurid green paint on it but I’m happy with it. A bit extravagant but with a squirrel baffle on the pole it should save me loads of money on bird feed. Definitely not a good finish.
Item was out, under a cover, in the rain on it's first night of use and by mid morning the next day it was showing signs of rust at the base of the upright, all around the edge and scattered across the surface. I can only assume that the item was painted over metal showing signs of oxidation (rust). I now have the trouble and expense of either returning the item or cleaning and repainting it. If this is standard for them then I would definitely NOT recommend this company.
