I bought this item with some trepidation, as some of the reviews I found were not glowing. However, it was only to be a childs bedroom TV so went ahead anyway, as the price now is very cheap. The design is the usual simplistic Sony look, and it looks very small, stocky, and solid. I have heard you can get them in various colours (black, white), and ours was silver. The remote feels a quality item, much better than the remote for our recent BDP-S360 Blu-ray player, which feels like a toy one. The picture, and sound, is very good. Tuning, and set-up, the usual easy fare with Sony. Then I went to attach a Blu-Ray player via the HDMI connection, and disaster.. no picture, not even the home screen. Several Googles later, I found that the Blu-Ray player will not be able to sense the maximum output of this TV (1080i, or 720p) automatically, so it was trying to send it to the TV at 1080p, which it obviously could not accomodate. On adjusting the output settings of the Blu Ray player all was good again, with a brilliant picture, and quality sound.Read full review
sony bravia 20" lcd TV. Launched in 2006. Freeview ready, hd ready with 1 HDMI socket. Also 2 scart sockets, pc input, componant input, and phono audio out. This 20s2020 is the full silver model, You will also find the 20s2030 which is identical apart from a being full black. There were also a few other colours available for a limited time. Priced at about £600 at launch, now down to around £500 - £550 on the high street. Although not the cheapest 20" lcd on the market - it is probably one of the best, fully featured - with a great viewing angle.
