One of the earliest console games licensed by a professional sports league, NBA Basketball is a two-player contest featuring three-on-three hoops action. You can play the game in one of four different speeds: pro, college, high school, or playground. Quarters last 12 minutes, and overtime, if necessary, lasts five minutes.<br><br>NBA Basketball is straightforward roundball: dribble, pass, shoot, and rebound. There are two types of shots, jump and set. Just like in real basketball, a jump shot should be used when a defender is nearby. You should only take a set shot when you are wide open. While on defense, you can steal the ball and block shots.<br><br>Dunking and fouls, two common aspects of the real NBA, aren't available in NBA Basketball. However, there is a 24-second clock, an opening tip-off, and an out of bounds area.
