This follow-up to SEGA's arcade Dreamcast music game. Version 2000 takes the basics from the original, features twice as many songs, and adds a few new ideas, such as the Hustle maneuver. The normal Samba play requires that you do one of the following: shake your maracas controllers in one of six positions relative to your body (sometimes fast, sometimes slow), or sustain an extended goofball looking pose with the maracas. So what's missing? How about a move that requires you to rapidly sway the Maracas between two of the positions? You'll hustle with one Maraca between the top two positions, and you'll turn to the side and hustle with both maracas between the top left and left-most positions. Originally slated for US release, this update was only made available in Japan.

Samba de Amigo Ver. 2000 is a hidden gem.
Incredible game, amazing music, amazing visuals. Abolsutely a hidden gem on the Dreamcast! The motion controls with the maracas can get a bit strange, but it doesn't get in the way of this incredible game! Now if only Sega remade it for Switch...
