  • Penguin Press is on trial for publishing Lady Chatterley's Lover and two juror are caught in the novel's lusty vortex.

In 1960's London, the publishers of the novel "Lady Chatterley's Lover" are charged with fostering depravity and brought to trial. Two of the jurors are caught in the undertow of the lusty read. An entire generation becomes captivated by the book as lawmakers decide whether or not it's fit to read. This film made me want to read the novel and watch the movie again.
