This procesor for the 754 board might not be the largest nor statistically the quickest but, running @ 2.4Ghz with a L2 cache of 512 and of course the x64 processing it handles my gigabyte board with 3Gb of ram and a Nvidia 8400 gs graphics card just sweet! i use it mainly for music and photos and it handles many applications without freezing or juddering. as a somewhat ageing CPU now it is good value for money for those on a budget wanting to build a respectable system without the duo core/quad core prices!
In my opinion this item has surpassed itself many many times I am a user of AMD most of the time and get very few returns. My overall opinion is that AMD supply a product that doe's exactly what it is intended and sometimes a lot more!!
I am an AMD fan what can I say!!! I owned an AMD Sempron +3100 1.8GHz and decided to upgrade. Of course since i was not going to change motherboard I opted for an AMD Athlon 64.
