Sony MDR-NC6 good quality, bad design
The Sony MDR-NC6 headphones fold up and fit into what is rather a lumpy bag, it has to be said, but is still useful for taking on holiday. The noise canceling is good, probably about 80% reduction, against persistent noise such as aircraft engines though you can still hear the inane chatter of your fellow passengers. The sound quality is very good, however, the ear covers are a bit small and after a short time are uncomfortable. There is also a strange unbalanced look to the headphones when on the head. This is because the battery case is on the inside only on one side of the headband which is curiously flatter at the top than it should be. This makes the headphones look to have a much larger gap on one side to the other. I have another set of noise cancelling headphones,Philips SBC HN110. Compared to the Sony 'phones, there is a noticeable lessening of sound quality but they fold up neater, have larger ear covers, are more comfortable and look neater on the head, so these are the ones I am currently using.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Not suitable for JVC HANC250
I just received them. Faster than expected. They almost fit on a JVC HANC250 but they are not working properly. Due to the fact that they are don't really much, headphones loose their noise cancelling ability. Comfortable but not matching JVC HANC250!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent replacement pads for the MDR-ZX110
