Perfect for Creating CD Playlists
Before downloads and streaming there were CDs. I have a lot of them and the Philips CDR 796 is just the machine for recording compilations. It is so easy to use, looks good and sounds great when hooked up to a decent amplifier. I bought the same model almost 20 years ago and it performed well until one of the disc trays refused to open anymore. I think this is a problem with many CD players. However, I would definitely recommend this particular model.

A Good Machine!
I've over the years always used these Philips recorders, found them reliable & easy to use, they produce very good results whether playing back or recording. The only thing that goes wrong after some years is the drive belts on the loading draws, but once they are replaced you'll have no further trouble. Overall a very good unit, would highly recommend! Many thanks!
