Why use an adpater when a cable is available?
There are adapter plugs to convert all types of computer connectors but if you want to connect a VGA input monitor to DVI-I output graphics card you may find the adapter takes too much space, plus it will add what is essentially an unnecessary extra set of connections. This is a low cost lead and works well for my use - connecting an old flat screen 1280x1024 monitor with a VGA connector to a DVI graphics card output. The quality of this adapter lead is really excellent. The connectors on either end are solidly moulded with great fit to their respective sockets and the cable is also of high quality. Flickers, low quality.
Terrible quality. Screen flickers constantly with shades moving up and down. Can't be of any use honestly, it's painful to look at and difficult to read. My other adapter works perfect in the same hardware I am using now, so It's not the screen either. This is the third VGA adapter I've bought on eBay which I have to return as they did not work properly either. It might just be better to buy those expensive 10-15 quid ones at Maplin or Currys/PC World after all just to avoid the hassle of return, and specially paying return postage..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
