This fits in with 2007 pretty well as in it has its pros and cons the graphics are amazing and the controls are a little clunky but after 30 minutes it is pretty easy to handle.the story mode is kind of repetitve but means well the cellphone in your lockerroom is how challenges are issued but you only have set accept or decline would be great if you had one or two more options . all together its worth the money on the wii it has great action such as having to do the hand motion for you cant see me or the dx chop .Lets just hope the upgrade some features in 2009 edition
I am a HUGE WWE fan, so I would need alot of negative aspects for me not to enjoy this game. Well, there are alot here. I was very worried about how this game was gonna play, as it is the first WWE game on the Wii, and with the Wii's unique controls I was fearing WWE Wii Sports Boxing. I have to say, WOW, the most unique and different wrestling game I have EVER played as far as controls go. I have played all wrestling games since early titles like Royal Rumble and RAW on SNES/Genesis, and this is definately the most unique control system. Seems pretty cool, should get better with next years. I can see that some may not like it, but after experimenting with it and familiarizing, it comes very easy. No, you don't NEED to flail your hands everywhere, but you probably will anyway. There is ALOT of stuff missing that you would expect in a WWE SvR game, but I understand this is the first WWE game on the Wii, next year WILL BE MUCH BETTER! Worst thing is that there are no specialty matches. No TLC, Royal Rumble, Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber, THERE IS NONE OF THAT. Bigtime dissapointing I know. Matches seem to last no more than 5 minutes for some reason, maybe just because I rock. ;) The career mode to me is very basic and repetitive, more annoying than fun. The graphics are good, but they don't compare to that of the PS3 or 360, but that is not why we have Wii's. My best advice to anyone interested in this game is RENT before BUY or wait until next years version. Don't believe me? Try it yourself.Read full review
This game is just a shell of the 360/PS2/PS3 versions. For any casual fan the game is just okay. For fans of the SmackDown series this game is a huge disappointment. Limited controls, EXTREMELY limited match types, no real season mode, no online play, disappointing CAW options and no create a belt feature. All your left with is basis matches and KO matches. This is disappointing considering the name recognition the SmackDown brand brings. It's a whole different game than any previous SmackDown. For SmackDown fans I do not recommend this game. For casual game fans I suggest a rental before purchase.
Ah wresteling who dont like this. This is just another game to me nothing really special about it. I do like these types of games. This is one of those you start in the beginning and hope to end up first in the end then sell the game. Deffinitly not for anyone under four years of age a little too hard for them to use all the moves.
This is a great game for any WWE fan. We rented this game prior to buying it to see if the kids would like it and they could not stop playing. It can be played with 1 - 4 players. It only took a few days and my 4 year old had down what buttons to hit for each wrestling stars signature moves. We did have to purchase an additional nunchuck to play 2 players and when our friends come over with their controllers we can play all 4. We think this is a great game and we highly recommend for all WWE fans.
My son was pleading for this game and after we purchased it, it has become a cool family game. The character controls are simple and easy to figure out. Each wrestler has their own unique finishing moves just as in real life. The tournaments are fun to enter and try to become champion. I highly recommend this game to any wrestling fan.
There are lots of greats aspects to this game that are specific only to the wii and this helps also to keep you up and active with the game. On the other side though there could have been more playing options in the game that just were no included such as certain matches and charaters. Overall my husband and I love this game and it is a great addition to our collection.
My son loves this game!

I love feeling the realism of the game. Although the controls are quiet tricky though. I bought this game because of previuos releases by gamecube. Overall this game is worth buying but, don't expect to master all the moves right away!
