Copes with full-on classical!
Though it's obviously aimed at the solo player, I use this tiny Donner Wave in a rear channel music feed, fed from left minus right. Ideally, for best preservation of front stereo image, you would need a pedal with wet/dry mix (I didn't foresee that) - but analogues with that option start at 85 usd (for example EHX Memory Toy).
In a 'dead room', the Donner brings home-listening to life. Gives a clean account of 40-piece orchestra, organ, choir, solo voice, ragga - everything!
No jaggedy digital edge to the sound, no hiss, just a touch of reverb added to the dry-through.
Power supply needed: you could patch in an external PP3, but at 35 milliamps that will wear out on long music. So I used a 9 volt psu, negative centre by the way. In my unusual L-R configuration, that brought some mains buzz so I inserted a DC-DC converter (tiny two quid component) for perfect noise isolation.
