Gamo Swarm Maxxim .22 Caliber 10 Shot Pellet Rifle
This is the first pellet gun I've owned. I purchased it online as a factory refurbished unit for $149. I installed the scope and had it sighted in with less than 10 shots. So far I've fired it around 50 times. It operates flawlessly with the 10 shot magazine and maintains a tight group at 10 yards. It is solidly constructed yet not too heavy. It does take some effort to cock this break barrel rifle but it is powerful yet extremely quiet. It is a great value and excellent quality for the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The basics are still there, accuracy, power but the mag system is a lost effort
There are many good things about this product but the bad things made it fairly useless, loading the magazine was way to sketchy, if you didn’t get every pellet positioned just right/perfect. The drum wouldn’t roll which if you didn’t watch the count down dry fire was excecuted, which is not good. The scope had problems but went back to basics and re booted by turning the adjuster all the way down, then all the way up was barely able to get it zeroed, the windage was close out of the box . Then the mag well fell apart so that did it, sent it back, Just opened the box for the new whisper fusion Mach one and looks real good especially with the iron sights. Gamo has to start using a real pic rail instead of the “like” type so you could install night vision, lazer or red dot etc. some sling fittings might be nice also, as it is for long treks would have to improvise.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good pellet rifle for the price.
I would recommend the rifle to anyone looking for a plinkster. I like the 10-round magazine feature. The weak spot is that with the Daisy pellets I have been shooting, I am having a hard time with consistency. Impressive
This rifle is impressive. The look, the weight, the features and the quality are all there. I am still setting the sights and the scope but both seem to be right on. Cocking this rifle will build your muscles. It takes some strength to cock it. As suggested I am using GAMO .177 pellets. These pellets seem to be a quality product when compared to some other pellets I have had. The rifle has a kick that surprises you but puts a smile on your face. This gun is awesome!!! For the money, you really cant beat it for the price. If you compare this gun to any other break barrel, for 200 dollars, nothing can match what Gamo offers. This can be a good air rifle but, ........
I love the concept of a $200 air rifle with a multi-shot magazine. The weight and balance of this gun are really good too. There are no iron sights so you have to totally rely on a scope attached to this rifle. The included scope is not the best. If you replace it, be sure that you do so with an air rifle certified scope. This gun pack a heck of a recoil! I have had this gun to wreck a scope in less than 200 shots....... Another thing is that it shoots better after you run 200-300 rounds through it. I can shoot a 1-2 inch group at 25-30 yards. The thing is that the more pellets I shoot, the better the group gets. I found that this rifle likes to be shot free handed with a loose grip on it. I would purchase another one, in fact, I plan to purchase the .177 cal later. I will give the included scope another chance, although I feel that my efforts are in vain. I am also currently researching other scopes that I can use with this gun. I do recommend that you purchase this rifle. Because of the included scope, I had to give low points on quality and also on value because you need a scope to aim and it comes bundled with a crappy scope. Couldn't be happier with this purchase
This gun is fantastic. Kids love it and it's a great piece to acclimate them to real guns with, should that be your motive. For me, it's just for fun and target practice. Best feature is not having to put a pellet in after every shot. Love having the magazine and I already purchased another one so I don't have to refill the first one right after it's empty.
