Mythology May Be Real
Zacharia Sitchen, author of this most compelling book did over 30 years research to write this book of the early gods and how our civilization came to be with their intervention. He has determined that our civilization officially started with the Sumerians. However he believes that their were beings on earth even earlier then the Sumerians! All about the God's and Goddesses who created us and civilization
If you are interested in God's and Goddesses and the rise and fall of civilization, you will love this. I found Sitchin's "The Lost Realms" much more interesting because I liked all the archeological information. The Gods and Goddess are in that, too, but I find the presentation more compelling in the latter, which I have read three times. Carved in Stone . . .
The line that our teachers of history & mythology have drawn keeps getting thinner. It's a tough pill to swallow, but the more science and archaeology discover, the more we learn that the histories we've been spoon-fed are wrong. I may not agree with all of Mr. Sitchen's interpretations, but the only way to Truth, is with an open mind. Compelling concepts is putting it mildly. Only time will offer the real answers. The truth is out there...
Zechariah Sitchin is a genius. In cracking the Sumerian language, he is able to she light on the origin of man. His use of the Bible as a reference is enlightening. Looking forward to reading the whole series!
I'm only a hundred or so pages into V1, but so far, it is very interesting. Sure we've all heard of Summaria, as an ancient reference, but I had no idea any of those texts had been deciphered! The timeline, and tie in, from Summaria to Greece, to Egypt, and all in a Biblical context. However, if you believe that the KJV of the Bible is the only accurate reference, then these won't be for you. Its probably over the heads of most Americans who have grown up around Christianity. It speaks of Creation accounts that most people have been taught or persuaded to reject.
