I remember when "Sheet Music" was released in 1974, but I only heard the singles that were released from this album, I never bought a copy until now.
Wall Street Shuffle was their big number one hit, from the late spring of '74, plus I heard a couple of other tracks on the radio, like Hotel, a very unusual but appealing song, which led to my becoming a fan of 10cc.
It's a great album, and I recommend it to anyone who appreciates art rock on a whole different level...
Great album, excellent tracks from my first love as a group, and music. 10cc are one of my greatest ever bands, always will be. Evokes a lot of young memories, and emotions. Thank ypu.
No not 10cc but the title of the opening track penned by Godley & Creme, on what is a fine 2nd album and one which Graham Gouldman has stated as their finest album. Lovers of The Original Soundtrack or How Dare You? may disagree, but this is a fine album and well worth buying. It includes the singles The Wall Street Shuffle and Silly Love.
