Just Another Great Ferry Album.
Great cd with the unmistakable vocal excellence of Bryan Ferry. The arrangements are fascinating throughout. He has covered Dylan successfully over the years and this is just a great project that allows you to listen to the craftsman that Ferry undoubtedly is, be it on his own songs or putting his own slant on another truly great songwriters work. I don't know if Dylan has heard this but it's a safe bet he would approve, some of the songs sound better than the originals but they are covered with passion and respect to their creator. Buy it. I've been a fan since first seeing him (with Roxy) in 1972, and thought I had all his albums. Somehow, this one slipped under the radar, and stayed there.
