Sloan re--works his old material
Some interestiing re-workings of his old songs, with guest artistes. At the time of release, one reviewer was critical and said it proved he was a better songwriter than a performer. Another called it the album of the week! There is a good updated version of From A Distance (not the Julie Gold song). Some of the musical arrangements didn't quite come off to make it a really commercial success. But it was OK to listen to, bearing in mind he was not a huge star of his era, but will be remembered for his social conscious lyrics- especially Eve of Destruction ( a big hit for Barry MxGuire) and one of the songs here by Sloan.

We're Still on the Eve of Destructuon!
Very good CD from the man who wrote Eve of Destruction when I was much younger! Unfortunately the words of that song still remain all too true today.Mostly written by PF Sloan with some guest singers.
