    underrated late work by a much-missed talent

    The first Billy Mackenzie album not to be released under the Associates name this 1992 release met with public indifference at the time. Which is a shame as the quality of these recordings is up there with Billy's more celebrated earlier works. Including a recording from his shelved 1988 album The Glamour Chase ('In Windows All') feels like a mistake though. This CD re-release adds nothing of substance (three rather unnecessary remixes as bonus tracks).
