No laser, and cheap
I know it's cheap. I knew it was cheap when it was $9 TOTAL. I got this to take apart to hide in my car. Radar detectors are illegal here, and I want to put the detector under my hood, the display in my dash (using LEDs), the speaker under the dash, and a hidden toggle switch. This is the perfect device for that. Each LED has its own wire, the "detection" part has three wires, and the speaker has two. It does not, however, have laser detection. Under where the laser "eye" is at is nothing. The English IS terrible, as other people have said; but I expected no less for this price. A GREAT device to cannibalize to make something else or an obfuscated radar detector. I have a poor rating because it does not have a laser detection. I've added a picture of a screwdriver pointing to the place where the laser "eye" comes in... Nothing there but plastic. You get what you pay for, I just don't like the misleading laser labeling.

360 radar detector
Well to be completely honest the radar detector is very nice and easy to use. What I really don’t like about it is that it doesn’t come with a better mount instead seems like it’s a simple cheap fix may get better results in sales or better reviews I thought it came with a mount that stuck to windshield or dash by what the pictures had shown when I decided to purchase it. So when I received it it came with a cheap little rubber mat that it sits on so it doesn’t stay in place when I drive or turn it shifts or slides right off the mat....... if I would have been aware that it wasn’t coming with a mounting bracket I would have kept shopping an bought one from a different place or sight . So to be honest I’m not all that satisfied with the radar detector I bought from you should take the pictures off this sight showing it comes with different mounting brackets cause that’s kinda failed advertisement. So if I decide to keep it I need to spend more to get a mountain bracket that it said came with an didn’t or buy another radar detector that actually comes with what it says An shows.....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Decent radar detector for the price!
Its a decent radar detector for the price. It has good range however the volume is super low. It doesnt beep, only has a digital voice that tells you that a radar signal was detected but if your radio is on even a little you might not hear it especially on the non slip mat they send. i had to purchase a windshield mount separtely just to hear it better. annoying and unreliable
I have to be honest, I have never had a radar detector before, so I don't know what I should be expecting. It will go off a lot, talking about k band detected, then goes away and I never see any police. I wish I could mute the talking, if it is possible I haven't figured it out. I run it in city mode to try and reduce the number of occurrences, but still goes off way too much. I only got it, because we are planning a long trip and even though I don't speed excessively, I wanted to know if something is out there. I can't rely on this as it maxes out so much and goes away, when I know there is nothing out there.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very pretty box, POS radar detector.
I had it on my dash board between my Rocky Mountan Radar c475 and my 12 year old whistler. After the initial boot up not one hit. No hit on the sherrif's patrol that lit up both of the other detectors. No hits on the safety radar at speed zones. Not a sound from the city cop's radar. This box does not detect radar or laser. Worst I ever owned!
I really didn't expect much from this unit and I was right. It fires off constantly, except when a cop is anywhere near. I have always owned Bels and they do an admirable job. I was just curious enough to blow a small amount to find out whether something new and wonderful had been added to the detector world. $400.00 detectors are not worth that kind of money and eventually someone will come up with a unit that does the job for far less.
