Poor transfer to DVD.
There are better Flash Gordon DVD sets around (I've since got a different set of DVDs which are far superior in picture quality). This is quite an old release. Even bearing in mind these are old 1930s serials, the transfer to DVD is poor, particularly 'Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe' which has also been edited as well with numerous cuts here and there and without the original opening titles.

Not sure about being complete series
I bought this to remind me of the days when I was a lad at Saturday morning cinema. Flash Gordon was my hero back then. I remember a scene in one episode where Flash was in the ring with a bear. This did not appear on the dvd and so was not really complete. Brought back some memories though! John E West
