A very touchy subject matter, acted in a very light hearted way.
Great quality film. Film was very engaging, the story was very believable, of the time, unfortunately. The characters kind of swept you up into the story, and you almost felt you were there, going through all the good, and the bad times with them. The scenery of the island was a stunning backdrop to it all, and you felt you wanted to go there too. A gentle warm story set on a beautiful island.
The pace of the story matched the Harris island setting. With a beautiful, scenic backdrop throughout, the characters were key to an enjoyable and gentle storyline with its quiet humour and a degree of drama.
