Examining the tradition of the suburban newspaper carrier, Mills compares and contrasts the classic, Norman Rockwell-associated version of the paperboy with the contemporary, suburban, hip-hop/television influenced model. Spending time with a handful of newspaper carriers themselves, we get to see where they live, what their lives are like, and exactly what the job means to them.
