Hello the film the Wind that shakes the barley excellent base in Ireland in 1920 ; Workes from field and country the unite together to form volunteer guerrilla units to face the[Black & tan ] a squads being shipped from England to block a bid for independence ,The Black& tan the want to set a example to the guerrilla in the bad way [ruthless ] killing and injury & threaten the village [Damien] a deep sense of duty for is country abandons is duty as a doctor to join his brother to stop the war for freedom in a dangerous fight and violent but the English din t want that eventually bot parties the agree to a treaty to end bloodshed but despite the apparent victory civil war erupt again & the fight against IRISH /IRISH one to another as sworn enemies putting their loyalty to the final text ,i seen this 7 years ago and is a very good film i like Irish film ,thank u very much regardsRead full review
