Well worth watching
This is a series aimed at older kids and teenagers, I think. I loved it in my youth. Now, 35 years later, I'm loving it again. A lot of my enjoyment might be nostalgic, but I think the series still stands on its own merits. And the score is fantastic.

A facinating series brought to life, in a simple but interesting way. Great value !
It Takes me back to being 15 again and being inspired by the characters will to survive. The quality his DVD set is very good considering the series was almost lost, and the story line sticks very closely to the original book.. It has a short interview with Robert Hoffman which is interesting, and all in all well worth the cost.

Memories of Summer Holidays past.
I must say this programme was part of my growing up. I can’t remember what time it was broadcast but my friends and I dispersed from outdoor activities to dash home to watch this. When I watched it again the other week it still grabbed my attention and at one point brought a tear to my eye. I don’t know how this generation of children will react with it being in black & white but for me “The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe” made me want to relive my childhood.

Still great even today.
One of my favourites watched when i was young. Yes still great even know, very moving liked when Robinson found the dog, on the shipwreck later than tamed a parrot. Yes brought back memories as a child and still surperb especially Friday come near the end, yes great fab series and still enjoyable to watch..
