One of the Classics.
Some of the "one liners" are terrific, such as "How dare you belch before my wife - sorry old boy didn't know it was her turn" I've used this again and again in real life, It's great if you burp or fart near someone who's easily offended. But this was Vyvyan Stanshall's train of thought. If you liked Monty Python and the Bonzo Dog Doh Dah Band then this is one for you

Viv Stanshall at his best.
If you enjoy the offbeat humour that is typical of Britain, not exclusively so I should say, then here is a master of the eccentric, pointing out the foibles and eccentricities of the ruling class and their subordinates. Stanshall at his best. If you are looking for joikes, this is probably not for you. IF you enjoy wit and observation then you shuld enjoy this remarkab;le p[iece of work. inline with Spike Milligan and Monty Python some of the naration is reminiscent of Dylan thomas in its use of language and flowing words. Excellent.
