Goldfinch love it
This is the second one I have bought. It's good quality and easy to refill by twisting the yellow part off the bottom. It is a nice small size so is good value to buy as a trial product if you don't know whether there are goldfinch in your area or not. The first one I bought has attracted a lot of them, so I've had to buy a second one. Although you have to refill it more often than a full size feeder, I find the small size and the hook means it is easier to find somewhere suitable to hang it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tiniest bird feeder ever?
Couldn't believe how small this feeder was when it arrived.know sizes were in the advert, but didn't check before buying.. Only takes a couple of tablespoons of seed! Won't last 5 mins in my garden, we have over 20 goldfinches a day visit to feed. Expensive for the size of it and Too small to be any real use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good starter feeder for goldfinches
This small but sturdy feeder is ideal if you want to attract goldfinches into your garden. I didn't want to spend a fortune investing in a large niger seed feeder until I was sure there was justification as goldfinches are attracted to certain habitats. I am very pleased with this feeder. It is small but well made. After a few days a few goldfinches started feeding from it regularly, at the moment I am refilling it every 2 or 3 days which would indicate that there are probably not a large number of goldfinches in the vicinity. If I need to refill it more often I will invest in a larger feeder, but at the moment it is just right!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Small but almost perfect , goldfinches love it .
It is smaller than you would expect..the feeding holes are tiny so they wont leak the nyger seeds, however, the little goldfinches were very quick to catch on and had emptied it it less than 4 days so apart from the size it is perfect and I am happy with the fact that it doesnt waste those seeds which are not a cheap. bird food .As it fills from the bottom it is rain proof as well .. so all round its a great feeder ..I will buy another so I can feed 4 birds at the same time ...and maybe wont have to refill so often ....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little feeder - ready to use, and the goldfinches near me love it. Marked down 1 star because: 1. Not easy to clean or refill, very narrow tube to get the niger seeds in without spilling out. 2. Rain can get into the feeder itself. A hook hanger is a big plus!
It seems about 90 percent of feeders don’t have a simple hook hanger which hooks over a small branch. Kudos to this one which has and is easy to install! 2 weeks later, there is a Siskin feeding right now on it so I can vouch that they work. Nice one 🙂

Good little feeder
I am very pleased with this feeder and find it is better than the larger ones I already have. There is not so much waste because the nyger seeds do not spill out as happens with another I have. Having it already filled with seed is an added plus to get you started.
