In HOT FUZZ, Police officer Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is transferred to a rural village. On arrival, Angel teams up with the oaf-like PC Danny Butterman (Nick Frost) and together they investigate a series of mysterious murders, all of which are classed as æaccidentsÆ by the increasingly strange townsfolk. In SHAUN OF THE DEAD, Shaun (Nick Frost) and his best friend Ed (Nick Frost) find their lives a little busy as the dead are coming back to life and trying to eat the living. Now they must rescue the family and take them to a place of safety. The local pub seems the obvious choice to them.
