These were bought to replace some electronic scales which had failed because the button contacts had presumably oxidised. These scales are ergonomically very good and are easy to clean with no hard-to-get at places. The backlit display is superb and the battery is a simple pair of AAA cells. The capacity is a useful 10kg. It is clearly too early to tell whether the button contacts will fail over time but I would hope that problem is a thing of the past. Anyway, benefit of the doubt.
