I am planning to make a cheap pair of low power, (approx. 1.5-2.0X), widefield binoculars after seeing an article on a well known amatuer astronomy forum. Included in the box are 1x lens, 1x pouch and lens caps, (the rear ones are threaded too). I have got someone to make a pair of 3D-printed frames for them and they arrived at the end of last week. The ones I ordered are all black, (images shown for show only). I just have to secure the conversion lenses into the frames with a suitable adhesive so they do not fall out when in use. I have tested them on a 'dry run', (i.e. not glued), and seem to be ok.
