It’s OK but outdated
The main issue is how fiddly the fence bolts are to secure whilst holding the fence firmly against the wood; the new generation has fixed this my having a single screw-knob on top of the jig. I guess this is why it’s so cheap (less than £20), so good value but I would spend more and get the new Wolfcraft dowel jig.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

my dowels now stand upright an straight
don't have a lot of use for it just enough to make it worthwhile having and it takes a bit of getting used to but at least my dowels are now straight and in the middle of the wood so thats a bonus using old timber which is not dead straight and flat takes a bit more time getting right but worth the moneyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent tool
You think at that price if it works great if not you’ve only wasted a few pints. Ok it arrives and your still wary But, first you open the box and you pick up everything just to get a feel. Then you find some scrap wood to practice on and believe or not it works but being the first time you think beginners luck. Then you get the wood your working with and hey presto it works again. Then you read instructions lol. One of the best tools I’ve bought for a while, it saves time it saves effort and headaches due to the ease of use with the self centring and alignment of the jig . Have been looking for an all in one dowel kit for sometime and this really fits the bill. The Quality is excellent and really good value for money.
