Lovely vintage hardcover copy of Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr. Fox, had since I was a kid. Former library book. The cover has quite a bit of wear, see photos, no dust jacket (not sure if it came with one - library binding). The R in Roald is worn off the spine. There are marks on many of the pages but nothing that distracts from the narrative. Some page corners have creases from being folded. There are a few library stamps in the book. The letter J was written in pencil on the top of the copyright page and was erased but is still slightly visible. I will send in acid-free protective sleeve. Look carefully at photos and feel free to ask questions. Make me an offer! I combine shipping.

SynopsisIn this book you will find: Boggis an enormously fat man, a chicken farmer and a mean man. Bunce, a pot bellied dwarf, a duck-and-goose farmer and a nasty man. Bean, a thin man, a turkey-and-apple farmer and a beastly man. Badger, the most respectable and well-behaved animal in the district. Rat, a rude creature and a drunkard, and also a Mrs. Fox and her four children.
I love this book. The illustrations are charming...one of the main reasons I wanted a hard cover copy of this classic children's book. The dust jacket is in even better condition that it appears online, Shipped very quickly as well. I am completely happy with this purchase.
