Air rifle maintenance stand
This product is just what I was looking for The price is a lot lower than other stands I've seen that are not so sturdy and they are asking £70 and more. It has a good solid structure the adjustment is fantastic . I would rate this stand as the best I've seen . Could be improved
The front filled bag is not filled and the description does not say the filling is not provided, the front bag took 2000 6mm Airsoft BB`s to fill it. The adjustment on the front feet is excessive which leaves unsightly bolts protruding and the horizontal adjustment bolt is too long which causes it to fowl on the trigger guard. I modified mine in the following way to make this basic rest more refined. 1. I cut the front feet bolts down to a more suitable length. 2. I added washers to the fixing and adjustment bolts. 3. I modified the horizontal adjuster by shortening the bolt and added a buffer where it meet the lower frame so the adjuster does not cause scratches to the paint finish on the lower frame. 4. I added some self adhesive Velcro to stop the rear cradle from slipping off. 5. I glued a rubber strip to the rear of the rest to stop it marking the rear of some stocks.

Simple and effective.
This is a bare bones tool but it works. Good for the price, no nonsense. You'll need some stuffing for the front rest cushion. It only takes a couple of spoonfuls so I raided a bean bag and used the polystyrene beads from that. The closure is a bit weak but an ordinary paper stapler soon remedied that. Before buying I was concerned it might not fit a Cometa Orion Bullpup but it works fine with that, and also with a standard rifle. Another comment here mentions rusty threads. Yes mine also had a bit of surface oxidation but nothing to prevent it working - at this price I'm not going to grumble about that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not completely fit for fit advertised purpose
Impossible to accurately "zero in" a 4x40 scope over 25 yards due to the amount of play on the elevation pivot point and the vertical adjuster screw. Due to the deign, whereby the end of the adjuster screw bears directly on the base of the device the resulting friction causes the rest to turn to the left and right (dependant upon direction of rotation of the adjuster screw). The effect of course is magnified and literally impossible to zero. Device only any good as a bench rest but useless as a device for sighting in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
