HUSTLER SSM1 and Intallation
On other brands, the insulating disk have cracked, ...even with a backing plate behind them. Mine is on an old Ramcharger and has held up on my Ramcharger for several years with no evidence of degradation. I do reccomend going with stainless bolts, washers and nuts as well. On a further note, my installation included a Tarheel stubbing coil was installed to strip off the capacitance and to bring the feedpoint closer to 50 ohms, This gives you a bit more bandwidth with lower standing wave, it also lowers RX ignition noise somewhat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
