A little goes a very long way
Very easy to apply with a cloth & surprisingly goes a very long way when applied like this. The wood takes up what it needs quickly with the excess wiped away & dries evenly. A second coat applied in a similar manner produces a very good result. Applied with a brush does take longer to cover the same amount of surface area but the result is equally as good. I have not seen a down side for this product to date & would certainly recommend it especially for use on patios sets at a very early stage of purchase to protect that investment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fantastic on planned wood
This is the best quality wood treatment I have used so far. It is thicker than other wood treatments but still manages to penetrate well and leaves a fresh treated look. Best applied with a brush and take your time. It is not for everyday treatment of your b and q shed and doesn't work well on rough sawn wood at all, save this special treatment for those fine wooden parts of your builds that need a refined look and feel.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

With the extra 20%, and free delivery, this was very competitively priced. It is nice to use, and brushes out well. I've found that putting my brush, after use in a plastic bag, or wrapping it in cling-film, made it unnecessary to clean it each time, though I did not leave it more than 24 hours. Expensive but worth it
About 3 years ago I used OZ oil on the side of a shed, originally yellow pine but in full sun & going dismal grey. Sanded off the outer grey layer, applied preserver, then oiled. After 2 years, re-oiled. Looks almost as good as new. I am unhappy about the instructions which say "use neat". If I use neat oil, it goes like glue before you can wipe off the surplus. I've used this on 4 oak windows and 2 pairs of large garage doors. The windows have been done at least a year and look really good.
