Robust, good quality spanner set.
I bought these to release some brake caliper carriage bolts which were not accessible to a socket and which were tightened well beyond what a normal ring spanner should shift. I used a lump hammer and a piece of wood to shift the spanner downwards on one side of the van and a hydraulic jack and a piece of wood to shift the spanner upwards on the other side and both bolts were released with no damage to the spanner. Needed the E16 size to remove caliper carrier bolts on my car, but better value to buy a set rather than just one. Bought these to do some work on my partner's Mercedes C-class as so many of the fixings on MB cars have Torx heads. Excellent quality spanners that I am happy to have in my toolbox. Bright chrome finish which looks as if it will last well and having now tested a couple of sizes they exhibit a nice snug fit on the bolt heads. This set comprises 6 spanners providing an improved selection of sizes over the apparently more common 4 spanner sets. Good fitting torx spanner
I had a torx head bolt to remove that was too tight to enable a socket to be used without removing several more components. Great looking spanners
I at the moment haven’t used them as I have not got around to repair my engine. On looks the tools look sturdy they don’t give me the impression that they will crack or break like a lot of other tools do, only time will tell. I have been looking for some for torx spanner’s for a long time and have never seen any for sale.
