I have been using PIAA Extreme White H4 +H1, and more recently H7, in my cars for the past 13 or so years only replacing them (very rarely!) with something different when I can't find the bulb that didn't fail last time and I have to buy a pair of something else locally to stay on the road! I had to do this most recently after running all spring and summer with inferior H7s and decided I needed to see where I'm going properly again now the darker mornings and evenings are coming. For those of us running older cars that don't have LED or Xenon lights and wish to remain legal, these are THE bulbs to have IMHO.

Got these bulbs for my audi TT and was hoping that they would make my dip beam brighter as they were expensive. They were RUBBISH, poor light of them and the light pattern was awful so took them out again.Very disappointed in them as they come from a respectable name.

I´ve had PIAA bulbs installed in three cars before, the Volvo V50 was the fourth. I´ve always been pleased with the result, but the fourth time was a bit of a disappointment. I can´t say the bulb is to blame, could be the reflector of the car? However, I do recall the bulb to have been brighter. Still, it´s a good bulb compared to OEM bulbs. More light on the road, a whiter light. I don´t know whether the beam is longer or not, but it definately appears to be wider. Price of the bulbs is a little stiff.
