Vital gadget to keep 13 pin sockets working properly
If you have a car/caravan combination with a 13-pin socket set-up, there will be times when the inner and outer parts of the car socket get out of alignment, meaning you won't be able to insert the 13 pin plug from the caravan. Caravan 13 pin alighment / keeper tool
Several sellers seem to have the identical product and this was way the cheapest. The 13 pin caravan plug, while being much more secure in use can become difficult to fit if the plug has become misaligned. This 'keeper' has a similar twist fit to the socket, with a neoprene gasket in the base to keep secure, so is a great way to store the plug when not in use or realign. I am intending to mount mine on the A-frame cowling to serve the purpose. As seen in the photo it has 3 screwholes, although I shall likely use silicone to stick in place instead. Don't know why these are not included with new vans or at least in retailers 'starter kits' as cheap effective and invaluable!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Gets your 13 pin plug internals back in line so easily.
I bought this because my 13 pin plug wouldn't fit in the socket one day, the inside section had twisted out-of-line with the outside of the plug. Until I managed, with a great deal of faffing with a screwdriver to get it back the way it should be we couldn't move the caravan and go on holiday. I had heard of such as this on forum posting and searched for one so that I wouldn't be in such a predicament again. Simple but Brilliant!!
Very simple but incredibly effective at what it does, ie, keeping the outer sleeve/locking ring in exactly the place you need it!! Also keeps some of the Gunge out of the socket, helping to ensure that it operates when needed.
