Pretty seems to be pretty good quality but without the app being available it's use is limited
I'm marking it down for the simple reason that you can no longer download the app for it. I spent two days googling with no luck. The apps that are available on the store are not compatible. Fast, clean and impressive
Delivery was fast and on time whilst the product itself is fantastic. The stabiliser was clean and pretty much looked brand new: came in the DJI case and had the instruction manual etc included. Not just a physical device, great software too!
I last looked for a 3 axis humble a few years ago, but I could not justify the price for just "messing about" so I settled for a 2 axis one. But the prices are coming down, and while this has now been replaced by a newer model, this one is still just as good for most users and because of that, the price of this model has not dropped that far from the newer version. Lots of other reviews wax about the build quality etc, I think the DJI software you use with the gimbal is excellent. It contains a set of tools that will help you achieve professional results. Great software built in. Fairly easy ish to use. Straightforward enough. Just need a little practice. Some great features on software. Good battery life but you need a fast charger to charge it, a regular mobile one will not charge it past 33%. Great now, will be excellent once DJI sort the Android issue out
Would have been an easy 5 stars except DJI have, at time of writing this, an issue with the tracking feature when used with Android phones. It would appear you can roll back to a previous version of the app or wait until it is fixed. Howerver - in the mean time what it does it does superbly well and it is a great piece of kit. The OSMO is my second gimbal, very versatile
This is great compared with GoPro-type gimbal, allowing the use of a good quality cellphone it gives versatility, with controls to zoom the camera, record, and swivel up and down, left and right, and track your subject. Videos on YouTube explain how to balance it precisely. It also has a long battery life, plus a USB port for additional power to your cellphone. This is a very good stabilising gimbal. I use it with an iPhone XS Max and even though it is one of the biggest phones available it handles beautifully. I’m a fan of DJI and I think they make very good cinematic equipment, being it drones or gimbals. And the free app is more than adequate for every day use. My first gimbal and it works good
It is good gimbal, but it feels like it's not easy to disable stabilisation built in phone. It is more of the phone issue. Default app work fine, but uses quite a lot of memory. In Dji Go app it's possible to enable tilt locking, after that this setting is remembered in all apps. At the moment I tried it just for couple hours.
