    Kingston USB , just great.

Item works like you expect being a Kingston , only issue I had was it took longer then normal to back up files , then a colleague pointed out that my old Mac was only 2.0 USB , and 3.0 function could only be truly fast on 3.0 USB machine , not an old Mac. Very good item either way.

  • Most critical review

Well made but very very slow when encrypted.

Kingston have a very good reputation and I have used their brand fro years. Sure, their products aren't the cheapest but they are usually very good. In this case one can't complain about the price but the speed is extremely slow: at least, when the drive is encrypted. I'm talking 20 minuets to copy 1gb, which is terrible. One does not buy a USB 3.0 only to have it run slower than USB 1.0. It's actually so slow when reading that playing a 720p MP4 video, it isn't fluid. Really, the speed is awful. Now, there are many, many fake Kingston drives around and if these are fake, its a very convincing one. These are very well built but that comes at the cost of repairing the drive if it gets damaged; I can't imagine taking the solid aluminium enclose off would be very easy.

  • USB drive

This drive is brilliant. I got the 64gb Kingston drive. Works extremely well in the computer and for using as a music centre in the car. Got all my music loaded into it, no more searching for CD's or cluttering the car with CD's. This is neat and tidy and stores vast amounts of music.

  • Very fast if compared to the previous model

I have been using extensively Kingston for a about 2 years now. Before that I was dedicated to SanDisk but it let me down multiple times. So for the last two years I had no problems at all with all my three Kingston DataTravelers but note that I am using this particular kind SE9 and SE9 G2. G2 is faster than previous version which is expected from USB 3.1.

  • Kingston Data Traveller USB stick

I chose this USB stick over other designs due to the slim design. The USB sockets on my laptop are close together and using a bulky stick would block the adjacent port. This width on this version is less than that of the USB port, allowing the adjacent sockets to be used. It does not come with a dust cap, but the build quality is excellent and I am happy to recommend it.

  • Great little usb stick

KIgston always good to use, I love the metal casing, so neat and noting to break. Storage good and access / loading speed as good as I need.

  • Absolutely brilliant pendrive

Absolutely brilliant pendrive, been using pendrives iin both business & domestic situations for years & this is one of both the smallest physically but largest, capacity wise that I've come across. its a pleasure to use & you can put it on your key ring & forget about it. Was a little concerned re lack of connector cover but in practice it's never suffered (this is the 2nd one I have bought) Highly recommended.

  • Backup for my main computer

I already have 3 Kingston Data Travelers for independent sequential monthly backups of my main computer. This additional flash drive is for storing archive files which are rarely worked on but which slow up the monthly backups. Simple to use, works well and files can be accessed at any time. A first rate product.

  • Excellent!

Kingston Data Traveler has been my first choice of flashdrive for several years. I was a little concerned about possible problems with the higher capacity of the 64gb model, but my fears were unfounded. It's excellent.

  • 64gb memory stick

I’m using this memory stick for sat nav map updates, the stick comes with a NTFS and ExFat partition already installed. I require a Fat 32 partition in order to use it for sat nav maps. You cannot format the stick to fat 32 using the quick format programme on a PC. I had to download a program on the internet in order to put a Fat 32 partition on to the stick. The stick works fine now with the map updates and I can use it for what I intended it for.
