Great replacement pump.
My 35 year old pump finally gave up the ghost. I was reluctant to replace it with the same make as these were extremely expensive and the pump was only needed for a few months as the heating system is to be replaced. I decided to try this Katsu pump as it was cheap and didn't have to last long. When it arrived I was very pleased as it looked excellent quality and fitted directly in place of the pump I removed without having to alter any pipework. When I switched it on it was much quieter than the old pump and heated the radiators faster than the old one did before it failed. Overall I am extremely pleased with this Katsu pump, it is very well manufactured, was an excellent price (a quarter of the cost of the original make). Good price, good quality
Wasted a lot of time trying to get heat to all the radiators. I thought the pump was working as two rads were getting warm. Ran out of ideas so i ordered this Katsu pump, it arrived quickly, very easy to fit, switched on, bled radiators, job done. Fantastic Performance
I can't believe the difference in performance in this new pump & the old one that was playing up. Even in it's lowest of three settings its doing the job I want of it & performing amazing. The radiators heat up much quicker & are much hotter than before also. We now have our house cosy warm ready for winter & it's all down to this new & super inexpensive yet so far seemingly very well made pump. Easy 20mins to fit as a direct replacement. Surprising very very good
Our Grundfos pump had failed and replacement one was very expensive so I took a chance with this one at only a quarter of the cost. Everting fitted exactly as the old pump without any problem. One thing is that the electrics box on the pump is on the opposite side to the Grunffis one which could make it a bit awkward in a tight situation. The pump is extremely quiet when in use. Delivered very quickly within 48hrs. Replaced expensive but knocking/ pump, took 30mins to fit, 3 speeds, set it on no2. Works well
It replaces a pumped heat exchanger pump, size was as expected identical with the plus that the wiring grommet was as well, so that was really easy as well. It would have been a quick job except the isolation valves had a seal failure, they were replaced...
