This hernia brace is great. I believe it to be the best I had looked at to purchase. I have had this problem for about two months. The first six weeks I worked and done things around the house without a brace, just kept pushing in on the hernia several times a day. By the end of the day you are wishing for help. I have been to the doctor, they didn't say anything about a brace, just wanted to refer me to a surgeon, said it was my decision when I wanted to have it done, that evening I searched the internet and found this brace. It is just what you need for this type of hernia. After a day or two you don't even realize you have it on. You, just realize your not hurting during the day. I've been wearing this one for about 2 weeks now. It is fairly easy to use, just Velcro. I would recommend this brace to anyone needing one. I don't leave home without it. Good belt but rock hard rubber pad hurt on contact
The belt is of good quality but the two pads are so stiff they feel like a rock they are a very hard rubber and hurt on contact. I removed them and sewed in some soft foam pads in place of them and it works fine now. Maybe the belt was old and the pads became hard like some rubber does but I would compare the rubber in this belt equal to the stiffness of a car tire.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Takes a bit of getting used to, but the truss provided much needed relief. Web belt provides flexibility and not a lot of restriction. Velcro allows for "as you go" adjustments.
