Hard Drive adapter works well if you want to replace your optical drive with a second hard drive.
If you don't need the optical drive then this HDD adapter works great. My Lenovo T430 thinkpad now has 2 hard drives and no DVDRW thanks to this adapter. One 240gb SSD for the OS and another 500GB HDD for file storage. Using the adapter to fit the second hard drive in place of the optical drive was easy. I consider this a worth while upgrade.

Really, really easy
I wasn't really sure what was involved in replacing the DVD drive with a HDD. It literally took me 2 minutes from opening the parcel, slotting the drive in and finding the release clip on the bottom of the laptop. Boot up, quick format and done! Now have a 180GB SSD for system files and applications and a 500GB HDD for storage. Perfect.
