Venom Xbox battery pack
Just bought my first Xbox-an Xbox One S in fact-a few weeks ago, and it became clear very quickly that I’d be spending a fair bit of money on replacement batteries for the controller as it doesn’t have a built-in rechargeable battery like the PS4. I contemplated buying the dedicated Xbox recharging kit but thought I’d save money by buying the Venom kit. It consists of two packs of integral batteries which slot perfectly into the back of the controller with a slot to plug in the charging lead. The charging cable has a USB at one end and has two mini USBs at the other end so both battery packs can be charged at once. The instructions say that the battery pack should only be charged up when it’s in the controller but I charged both up directly to the mains and it duties fine. Very disappointing
Seem well made but take absolutely ages to charge and I have no idea where they get 'up to 18 hours battery life' from. I'm guessing they mean up to 18hrs using both battery packs. I had bought a cheap battery which lasts no time at all and the wire kept coming out but this pack is a completely different story. The fact you have 2 means that you'll never be needing one when its not charged and the battery last me around a week of around 2-3 hours a day gaming so last really well. Not the best but good for price
Battery pack lasts less than 12 hours. I don't have controller pad on vibrate. But having two charging packs means ones in use whilst others charging so can live with it. Cheap, and does thd job
Charge time much greater than advertised, and runtime a lot less. But for £10 it's good. Lasts 2-3 hours on a charge. But there's 2 so just use one while the other charges. Will be fine for my son. If you want a stronger battery venom do sell bigger packs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Long lifw and easy to swap out.
The product is very easy to use. Simply clip into place and away you go. Manufacturer includes a two way charging cable, so both can be charged at the same time. Can quite easily last you a full day worth of gaming, and once the battery runs out, swap it out and you're ready to go again. Great product. The fact that unlike most battery backs this comes with 2 rechargeable units which means you will always be able to to be online. Some serious thought has gone into this product. The recharging is undertaken by a lengthy USB cable that splits into two lines. This allows you to also not just one but both at the same time, even if one battery back is fitted into the controller.
