Just bought my first Xbox-an Xbox One S in fact-a few weeks ago, and it became clear very quickly that I’d be spending a fair bit of money on replacement batteries for the controller as it doesn’t have a built-in rechargeable battery like the PS4. I contemplated buying the dedicated Xbox recharging kit but thought I’d save money by buying the Venom kit. It consists of two packs of integral batteries which slot perfectly into the back of the controller with a slot to plug in the charging lead. The charging cable has a USB at one end and has two mini USBs at the other end so both battery packs can be charged at once. The instructions say that the battery pack should only be charged up when it’s in the controller but I charged both up directly to the mains and it duties fine. Seem well made but take absolutely ages to charge and I have no idea where they get 'up to 18 hours battery life' from. I'm guessing they mean up to 18hrs using both battery packs. This still seems very ambitious as mine don't last very long at all, maybe 4-5hrs each at the very most. Not recommended

I had bought a cheap battery which lasts no time at all and the wire kept coming out but this pack is a completely different story. The fact you have 2 means that you'll never be needing one when its not charged and the battery last me around a week of around 2-3 hours a day gaming so last really well. It fits perfectly and is a must for any gamer

Battery pack lasts less than 12 hours. I don't have controller pad on vibrate. But having two charging packs means ones in use whilst others charging so can live with it. Saves money on long run for buying disposable batteries. Worth the purchase. Just needs more storage/battery life

Charge time much greater than advertised, and runtime a lot less. But for £10 it's good. Lasts 2-3 hours on a charge. But there's 2 so just use one while the other charges. Will be fine for my son. If you want a stronger battery venom do sell bigger packs.
