Great manual, simple to read & informative
My previous experience with a digital camera, was a simple snap and go Fujifilm compact, which served me okay for the last 8 years, before giving up the ghost. Decided to try something a bit more complex, so bought my very first Bridge camera, the Lumix FZ1000. Prior to researching my finally plumping for this model, i had no idea what a Bridge camera is, or how it differs from a DSLR! Whilst the standard Panasonic operating manual is informative enough to at least know what all the dails, switches and knobs do..it doesn't really give much detail on how to use them effectively! Graham's manuals of all models he has covered, offers a more comprehensive breakdown on how to use the camera to it's best. Plenty of photos and diagrams to point out what is what and where it is, and what it does! Speaking a complete beginner, when it come sto bridge cameras, i will admit some of the jargon used in the book, can and does go over my head..but that just my inexperience showing. I haven't yet finished reading the entire 256 page book, but already, i'm learning how to get decent photos and not just okay ones. Upon acquiring the FZ1000, i didn't even know how to turn the darn thing on, let alone take pictures with it! For me...this book is absolute boon....so if you bought the same camera, and wanna know how to get the best out of it..then get this manual too! :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
