Yanmar 2V78
Engine has huge amount of torque. Typical diesel - noisy, smelly, but runs great. Only weak point on this diesel is injector tappets and governor. My governor fell apart and the weights flew off! Engine ran at max rpm and had trouble shutting down. Replacement engine was $3225; governor and injector unit was $3300. This engine was a better buy. My JD 355D is back running again!
