Plan Ahead, A Fire Could Save Your Life.
These "Diamond Strike a Fire FireStarters" will be a great addition to your fire kit. They burn well and start easy with a Ferro rod (if you rough them up a bit). (The match head end isn't good so plan ahead) Use them as you would use a hunk of fatwood and you should never be without a warming fire when you need it. Red match head material damaged
I always use this brand of fire starter but buy it from a local box store. They work very well. These fire starters had all of the red starting material hardened and shattered off, laying in the bottom of the box. Additionally, the fire starters are tough to light, even with a lighter. If you rely on the strike in box feature to start these you will likely be disappointed. If you have the ability to start them with a lighter and keep an eye on the fire, these will be just fine. Make it a great day!!

I love my Diamond brand fire starters!
I've tried several kinds of fire starters and these can't be beat. They start quickly, last long, with no mess. I've tried other brands when my store was out of the Diamond brand. The others seem waxy, hard to light, and hard to arrange in the kindling. And because they are in large lumps or bars, they are used up fast. Then other kinds seem to burn up before the fire even gets started. My box of 48 Diamond starters lasts for weeks, building one or two fires every day. I'd be lost without them. My neighbors are impressed that I can arrange my kindling, light the starters, and sit back and let the fire take hold on its own with no further bother. Works quite well
