This prevents thieves from picking up and relaying signals from your key, to shield against break-ins and keyless ignition theft. The vehicle recognises the fob when it's in range and unlocks the doors.

    Effective RFID Product

I became concerned about criminals using scanners to record the signal for my proximity sensor key fob that I sought an effective product to minimise the chances of this happening. I found this product on eBay, ordered two then instantly checked their viability l. It worked very well. Moreover it sits comfortably in my pocket and doesn’t seem to cause excessive wear to the linings of my pockets. I would recommend this affordable product to others.

    Product didn't work.

I brought this product and I also brought a Faraday Keyless Car Box Signal Blocker Box (from eBay seller) and then sat in my car to test them both. Results as follows...This pouch allowed the car to start. I followed the instructions, making sure to put the key fob in the correct inner sleeve and closed the flap. I cannot recommend this product! As for the box. I placed the keys inside, closed the box lid and it worked as I expected it too.

  • From 1star to 5star!!

After seeing on TV about how easy keyless car's can be to steal I ordered a steering wheel lock and these signal blockers. First test I placed my key inside and walked up to the car and it opened. Was angry and thought it didn't work but then i realised you have to place the key inside the silver section of the pouch. Second test and it works 100% couldn't open my GTi golf even when standing next to the car.

  • simply great protection.

it does exactly what it claims to do. i have a keyless entry car and if i dont take the fob out of the pouch i can not get into my car let alone be able to start the engine.or use many of the cars functions. i keep my car fob in one and my bank cards in the other. i am now going to get two more for my wife to use.

  • Light and easy to use

Works well and comes in a two pack the normal number of key card's you get with your car, commonsense breaking out I wish more retailers would suffer from this easy to use enough padding to give some protection should you drop it but neat enough to fit in a shirt or trousers pocket.

  • Well worth the money, works exactly as advertised.

I've recently bought a car with keyless go and entry. I was worried about reports of car theft by scanning the keys, after a little research I found I needed a faraday pouch to block the signal. I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money to start with so gave these a go. The key fits inside perfectly and goes into my jeans / trouser pocket OK. I've tried getting into the car and also starting it once the door is open with the key in the pouch and the car does not register. Well worth the tiny outlay to preotect your pride and joy.

  • A minimum requirement for keyless entertaining cars

I’m not convinced about keyless car entry. There appears to be no obvious benefits other than making it easier for criminals to steal cars by intercepting the signals transmitted between the ‘key’ and the car. Placing your car key inside this bag will prevent radio signals getting out and thus prevent thieves stealing your car. This bag, known as a Faraday cage, does exactly what it’s supposed to do: block radio signals and prevent someone intercepting the signals and using them to open the car. My car has keyless entry and all you need to do is have the key in your pocket, walk up to the car, touch the door handle and it opens the car. Place the key inside the bag and it no longer works proving that this bag does exactly what is claimed. Although this bag is very cheap, it’s well made and big enough to hold even the largest modern car key. An outlay of a couple of £££s to protect property worth potentially many thousands is surely a worthwhile investment.

  • It Really Works !

This pair of shielded 'Faraday Cage' pouches are really good value. If you have two fobs for your car, you will certainly need two of these signal blocking pouches. I put my 'keyless' lock / unlock / ignition fob into the pouch and tried to open my car door - and couldn't ! That proved it works. The pouch looks as if it is designed more for a mobile phone than anything else and has two inner pockets. The first section is for a phone and the second gold coloured 'shielded' pocket is for your fob. Although plenty wide enough, the depth is not sufficient for both phone and fob, unless your car key fob is only 5mm thick. If you keep your front door key attached to the fob however, the overall width and length is perfect. As an inexpensive way of preventing your car being stolen from your driveway or street, this is a good option.

  • Peace of mind at a small price

After reading about “keyless” car thefts i looked at buying a similar product and then found these £5 for a pack of 2 very good. Item arrived and at first i wasn’t sure if would work i went to my car and tried with out the product and everything worked as normal. I placed my key inside the special lined compartment and tried again and the car did not unlock, proving that these pouches DO BLOCK THE SIGNAL!!!!. I now have peace of mind that no toe rag is trying to find the signal from my keys. *** If you have a motor vehicle with keyless entry i would highly recommend this item***
